About me

I am a mother of three lovely daughters, 11-year-old twins and a 3-year-old. Even the cat is a girl, so my husband got a male Labrador to try and even the odds. It is a female dominated house and I’m proud to be raising, feminist, honest, fair and loving children.

I love a glass of wine shared over a lengthy deep conversation, especially if is something that I’m passionate about, like evidence based birth and rights, mental and physical wellness, photography, and any Netflix series I might be binging on.

I love being surrounded by green and water and you will often find fresh flowers in my home.

Having experienced a traumatic birth with my first pregnancy, I have seen first-hand the ripple effects that this brings to the whole family. This fueled my never-ending desire to learn the process of birth and the changes and impacts on our physical and mental wellbeing.

I wholeheartedly believe in the power of the mind body connection, and that the journey to achieve optimal levels of wellbeing has infinite and varied routes.

My desire is to walk alongside each birthing person, holding space, sharing my knowledge and always adopting an attitude of unconditional positive regard, of acceptance, non-judgmental, agenda free and equality.

I have trained as a Trauma Informed Doula and developed my skills adding to my tools, prenatal massage, spinning babies techniques, and birth art as a way to connect to your unconscious mind in prepare for conception and birth.

I also believe in the power of capturing your birth through photography as a way to process your birth and hold on to the memories that quickly fade in the wind whirl that is the journey to motherhood.
