About me
As a South African that has been living in the Netherlands for over 5 years, I have the unique combination of knowing what it feels like to be an expat, and also understand how the birth system in the Netherlands work. I am a certified doula, having done training through both the American company ProDoula and the Dutch company Doula Academie. As your Doula my main goal is to make you feel happy and heard. In our prenatal sessions we go through all the different scenarios of birth, making sure that you can have a plan that fits you, your needs, and your wishes. I support both you and your birth partner to make sure that you are prepared and informed as soon as labour and birth starts. During labour and pregnancy I am at your side, giving you emotional and physical support. You can focus on your body and your baby, knowing that you are taken care of.
