About me

Hello, my name is Catarina, I come from Lisbon, Portugal and I´m living in Amsterdam since 2019. I speak Portuguese, Spanish and English fluently.

I am an empathetic and dedicated practitioner providing support and encouragement to mothers and their loved ones. With over nine years of experience as a certified massage therapist, manual drainage lymphatic therapist and craniosacral therapist, I have honed my skills and knowledge to offer a comprehensive range of offers.

In 2021, I embarked on a new journey to combine the ancient wisdom of postpartum ways with the latest scientific knowledge. As certified INNATE Traditions Postpartum Care Provider since 2022 my purpose is to provide loving care and support to new mothers and their families during the early postpartum period. I´ve also received traditional postpartum teachings from Colombia and Mexico with the Colombian traditional midwife Laura Torres and currently I´m studying Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology Educator Course with APPPAH.

I took a postpartum preparation course with Catarina and I highly recommend it! Some family members were able to join so that the information reached those who were going to be present at that stage, which I considered really important and brought us even closer together. I felt well supported by Catarina, who was always attentive to our needs and available to listen and clarify. She has a very sensitive and compassionate way of passing on important content, in addition to being very competent and professional. I am very grateful and happy to have had this experience!

Magnificent experience, a very qualified therapist. The combination of physical techniques with massage and therapeutic accompaniment make this treatment a true medicine of balance for the body, mind and heart. In my own experience I had problems with my memories of childbirth and with my nerves of which I was not even aware, with this therapeutic technique I feel in balance and grateful to heal those emotions that I did not see.
