At Parentally, we believe that holistic wellbeing is one key to a fulfilling journey from pregnancy to parenthood. Pregnancy is a time of excitement and joy, but doubts and questions often come along which is normal and natural. From woman to mother and from man to father - it is a time of monumental physical, emotional and identity transformation.

To make a holistic pregnancy and parenthood journey available to all, we aim to:

  • raise awareness around the wide variety of effective support available during pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period,
  • connect parents with the provider that is a perfect fit for their needs and
  • provide a platform to ensure providers are able to communicate and share their expertise and care with parents seeking a natural approach

We put family wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. When you as a parent feel nurtured and confident, you can truly enjoy the joys of parenthood.

How does Parentally help along every stage of your journey to parenthood?

PREPARE → TRANSFORM → HEAL → THRIVE

1. Prepare

Pregnancy: during these nine months, as your baby will develop and prepare for birth, so will you and your partner. Your midwife (or in some cases your gynecologist) will guide you through this unique experience and monitor mother and baby’s health. If you feel you need additional support when it comes to mild pregnancy discomforts, exercise, energy level and emotional wellbeing, many qualified professionals are here to give you a hand.

Parentally will connect you with prenatal yoga teachers, workout coaches, acupuncturists, doulas, pregnancy massage therapists, and more!

2. Transform

Birth: giving birth to a child is one of the most daunting, intense, and transformative moments in a woman’s life. Though it is impossible to predict how and when your baby is going to be born, good preparation and the right support will help you feel confident when the big day arrives and enhance your chances of having a positive birth experience. If you want to get extra preparation, explore alternative birthing options, or if you would like to receive extra physical, emotional and informational care before and during birth, professional help is around the corner.

Parentally will put you in touch with qualified child birth educators, hypnobirthing or water birthing experts, doulas, maternity nurses (kraamzorg) and more!

3. Heal

Postpartum: the so-called “4th trimester” or postpartum period is often the most forgotten one in one’s journey to motherhood. Having a baby is a full-time job and one can easily forget that a new mum needs care too. Postpartum is an intense period of adjustment for your body and your mind, but also for your partner and any other members of the family. Extra care can help you recover faster and allow you to fully enjoy the first few months with your newborn child! If you need physical, emotional support or if you suffer from mild postnatal discomforts in the first months after delivery, you can rely on postpartum experts to help you out.

Parentally will connect you to massage therapists, yoga teachers, nutritionists, acupuncturists, fitness coaches and more!

4. Thrive

Parenthood: there will be moments when your baby is an enormous source of joy and watching them grow is an everyday wonder. But there are also moments when learning to be a parent involves questions, doubts, and challenges. If you need extra help with breastfeeding, sleeping habits, mild baby discomforts or if you want to increase bonding and connection with your baby, a whole range of qualified mum & baby experts are around to support you.

Parentally will connect you to lactation consultants, child sleep coaches, baby massage therapists, baby yoga teachers and more!

If you have any questions, get in touch. We are always happy to help!

Note: our aim is to connect expectant and new parents with extra care during pregnancy, birth and postpartum. We intend by no means to replace the traditional care provided by midwives, gynaecologists and other medical professionals assigned to your pregnancy follow-up. Please discuss any care you arrange with your healthcare provider.
