Dads and birth partners! Feeling unprepared or nervous about how you can best support your partner during labor? This class is for all families who want to feel more confident and empowered going into birth as a team.
~ About the Event
Historically, fathers were rarely in the room when their wives gave birth. Today, we often put all of the responsibility of supporting us through birth on our partners. Amsterdam based birth and postpartum doula, Justine, created this course with the many dads and birthing partners in mind who felt like they didn’t have the tools to support their partners through birth.
When you take a birth preparation class, only a small amount of time is dedicated to learning and practicing comfort measures (if any). This class dedicates a full two hours to just that!
~ Who is this session for?
Whether it’s your first go around or your second, this class is for all families who want to feel more confident and empowered going into birth. This class could be especially valuable to families who won’t have a doula in the room, and would like to have some useful tools to support their partners through labor.
