No other event changes you as profoundly as the birth of a child. It is a physical, emotional and spiritual experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life. That is why it is so important to be able to look back on the birth with a full heart.
As a doula I offer loving care to the mother during pregnancy and birth. I support you – and your partner – on an emotional and practical level.
Doula guidance include:
● Free introductory meeting
● 3 in-depth sessions at your home, to help you prepare for birth
● My support at one midwife visit during your pregnancy (optional)
● Unlimited support(by email, WhatsApp and phone) from the start up to 6 weeks after birth
● 24/7 on call from 38 weeks
● In-person support during the birth, from whenever you call me until your baby is safely in your arms
● Use of my birthing equipment: Elle tens, birth bath, rebozo and peanut ball
● A maternity visit after the birth, with an optional placenta smoothie and/or a placenta print

Choosing a doula is not a decision to take lightly. To help you make this choice, read on to understand more about the sessions and what you can expect from me as a doula.
Every mother-doula relationship I develop starts with a telephone call and then an extensive introductory meeting at your home. During these conversations we see whether there is a mutual click between you as a mother-to-be, your partner and me as a doula. After all, it is extremely important that you feel completely safe and at home with your birth team.
If the answer is a resounding YES, we will dive deep into your world. We will discuss your wishes, fears, beliefs, knowledge of your body and all kinds of practical matters regarding birth. There is one clear goal: to prepare you – and your partner – for the big day.
You will experience that you are in control of your birth and at the same time 'fluid' enough for all the twists and turns that may come.
Once your baby is safely with you, I’ll still be there to support you as much (or little) as you’d like. I can visit you at home with a nutritious meal to help you recover, or make you a placenta smoothie. I’ll also be on hand by phone for the first six weeks – you can call or text any time.
When your baby is six weeks old, I’ll visit again for a final meeting to answer any questions and make sure you’re both doing well. Even after that, you’re not on your own. Many moms keep in touch during the first year whenever they need a listening ear.
