After the incredible journey of pregnancy and birth, your body needs some extra care and support to help you heal and recover. It's common to feel like your belly is a bit out of sorts during this time as your organs settle back into place and your abs slowly regain their strength. But don't worry, there are ways to ease this discomfort and support your body in its healing process.
One such method is belly binding, which involves wrapping a cloth tightly around your midsection to provide support and encourage good posture. This can be especially helpful during feedings, as it can take some time for your body to adjust to this new routine.
During my visit, I'll provide two belly binding sessions in the comfort of your own home, one of which can be used to teach you or your partner how to do it yourself. We'll also discuss instructions on how to use the belly bind properly for maximum benefit.
In addition, I will give you a norturing before the belly binding to help stimulate blood flow and support your recovery. It's all about taking the time to slow down, be gentle with yourself, and give your body the care and attention it needs during this special time.
