Introduction
Becoming a parent, without even realising, affects every inch of our being. It changes us in ways that you can never truly imagine. It is a journey that should to be honoured and respected, and no matter how that journey unfolds, it is an experience that will stay with us forever. No matter how old you become, you will always remember how you felt and were acknowledged on that day, so feeling seen, heard, and in control of your journey is the foundation to having a positive and sometimes healing birth experience.
I am Toni. I’m originally from the UK but have called Amsterdam home now, for the past 9 years. I am a wife and a mother, and my journey to motherhood is what brought me to birth work and the calling to support parents on this crazy ride we call parenthood.
My Purpose:
∗ I am here to listen to you, and hold space for your worries, anxieties and fears, so that you and your baby can trust and feel safe in the birthing experience.
∗ I will be there for your partner, guiding them on how best to support you, and hold space for their questions, and uncertainties; because you are all about to become a new-born family, and birth is just as transformative for them too.
∗ I will empower you to trust and listen to your intuition, to listen to your body and your baby, and be in control of your pregnancy, birth and postpartum experience.
∗ I will educate you to know you birth rights, the options available to you, and the choices that you can make to own your birth story.
How can I support you?
° Birth Doula – preparing you physically, mentally and spiritually for the trip of a lifetime.
° Birth and Postpartum Support planning. – Aside from preparing the for the practicalities of the birth and postpartum period, it’s also important to understand how you want to feel during this time and what can be done to allow you to feel, what you need, during this experience.
° HypnoBirthing & Childbirth Education Courses – A full, and all encompassing birth preparation course.
° Trauma Informed Care – If you had a previous difficult or traumatic birth experience; I’m here to support you for a more positive, empowered journey this time around. If it’s your first baby, but have had a traumatic experience earlier in your life and you’re worried about how that will affect your birth, I’m here to help you unravel and honour your experience, and to support your birth to be as powerful as you are.

Postpartum Doula - 4h
- +I will come to you after the Kraamzorg has gone and the initial support has fallen away.
I will be there for you to help you navigate the newborn phase as you get to know your baby as well as the newborn version of yourself.
I will be there to be a listening ear for whatever comes up, and supporting you to trust your own instincts rather than listening to the noise of friends, family or social pressures.
I will be there to offer advice about newborn care, and tips and tricks to making your life more straightforward and uncomplicated because less face it, life is already complicated enough even without a newborn.
But most importantly, I will be there to take care for you so that you feel confident to care for your baby.
I offer this service in 4 hour blocks. When booking you can select either a morning visit (9h-13h) or an afternoon visit (14h - 18h). There is a discounted rate available for birth clients and/or when you book more visits, contact us for more information.
