It can be done one month after the birth, one year later, 3 years later, or 20 or 50 years later.

The closing of the bones is a time-honored Mexican tradition that celebrates the birth of a baby and the mother's rebirth. By holding the rebozo with gentle yet firm hands, the mother's body is reminded that the gestation process is over and a new cycle has begun.

This ceremony offers numerous benefits, including the integration of the mother's experience of giving birth, the adjustment of the sacrum and pelvis, the release of stress from childbirth, increased blood circulation, relaxed muscles and joints, balanced hormonal production, and support for breastfeeding.

Additionally, the ceremony provides much-needed rest and containment for the mother, as well as social recognition for all that she has gone through.

I had the opportunity to receive this therapy and it has been a great discovery. My childbirth and postpartum had been very traumatic and I have been able to feel/ live them from another perspective. Caterina is a very special person and a very good travel companion. Thank you so much. I will repeat, without a doubt.

Linda G.

Magnificent experience, a very qualified therapist. The combination of physical techniques with massage and therapeutic accompaniment make this treatment a true medicine of balance for the body, mind and heart. In my own experience I had problems with my memories of childbirth and with my nerves of which I was not even aware, with this therapeutic technique I feel in balance and grateful to heal those emotions that I did not see.
